PUBLIC HEARING ITEM: FY27 Annual Action Plan – The City of Newton Housing and Community Development Division of the Planning and Development Department annually receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). HOME funds are received on behalf of the WestMetro HOME Consortium, which also includes the Towns of Bedford, Belmont, Brookline, Concord, Lexington, Natick, Needham, Sudbury, and Wayland and the Cities of Framingham, Waltham, and Watertown. To receive this funding, the City of Newton and the WestMetro Consortium are required to prepare the Annual Action Plan which describes the CDBG, HOME, and ESG funded projects that will be undertaken over the course of the upcoming fiscal year (July 1, 2026-June 30, 2027) as part of the goals and strategies outlined in the FY26-30 Consolidated Plan. The City of Newton and WestMetro HOME Consortium are required to hold a public hearing on the report to solicit feedback and to ensure that grant funds are effectively spent to assist low- and moderate-income residents, as outlined in the Citizen Participation Plan. 2026-98 On Call Land Appraisal 

The City of Watertown (MA) invites proposals from qualified individuals/firms to provide On Call Land Appraisal services for a one year term with two one year options for renewal at the sole discretion of the city. Each Proposal shall be submitted in accordance with the Submission Requirements within the RFP and M.G.L. c. 30B, §6.

The RFP will be bid ELECTRONICALLY. Bid documents, forms, specifications and conditions, and bid guidelines will be available online from www.projectdog.com website starting at Noon on Wednesday March 18, 2026. To obtain documents, log on to the website at www.projectdog.com and click “Sign Up” or login with your existing account.
