400th Anniversary Advisory Planning Committee
The City of Watertown will celebrate its 400-year anniversary in 2030! As we prepare to commemorate four centuries of our city and community, the City is engaging residents to help advise in the planning for this once-in-a-generation celebration.
In 2025, the City released a call for volunteers to join a committee aimed at advising City staff and community partners envision, plan, and guide anniversary events, initiatives, and programs reflecting Watertown’s rich history and vibrant future. Eleven resident volunteers have been appointed to join the committee.
As we approach 2030, there will be countless ways for all residents and businesses to engage, share feedback, share ideas, and participate in the planning of events and programs celebrating the 400th anniversary. Relevant resources, surveys, and information will be posted to this webpage as they come available. Stay most up-to-date at the City's homepage, calendar, and social media channels for the latest announcements, updates, and opportunities.
