Cost of EV Charging – As of May 1, 2025
At the 29 City-owned EV charging stations, users will be charged a rate of $0.25 per kWh for the electricity used (tax is included in rate). Users will also be required to pay for the parking meter (or Passport mobile app) as well.
Idle Charge
For vehicles that remain plugged in after being fully charged for 30 minutes, the rate will become $0.07 per minute (tax is included in rate). This “idle charge” is to encourage space availability when vehicles are done charging.
